Chopstix Noodle Bar was founded in 2001 in London with a simple goal; to make Pan Asian cuisine accessible to the mass market customers within a quick service casual restaurant enviroment. Over the last twenty years the brand has grown and now trades at over 100 sites across the UK and Ireland.
A key factor in our sucess is operational simplicity – difficult food made easy. We have simplified our recipes and developed ingredients, which has allowed for the brand’s scalability. Lower skilled labour requirements and improved cost efficiencies mean we can deliver an average Gross Margin of 75%.
Our aim of being faster, fresher , and tastier drives our brand and culture. The average transation time in store is under a minute. Our food is freshly wok cooked, and in most cases in full view of our customers, to add a little chef theatre and authenticity to the customer experience.
Chopstix has several formats and continues to develop its portfolio on high streets, shopping centres, motorway service stations, travel hubs and resorts. With capital investment ranging between $95k – $320k (format dependent) the average ROI is just 24 months, and we boast an enviable profit conversion.
Having begun our franchise journey in 2015 with both Applegreen and Welcome Break, we have developed a dedicated leadership and support team to enable our ambitious plans, and have signed several long-tern development agreements in the UK, with a runway for 500-plus UK stores by 2028. Chopstix are also in advanced talks with several international Partners for Master Franchise expansion into Europe, India and GCC.
